Attorney Bio

Stephane Dupont started the Dupont Law Firm in January 2018 with the goal of providing experienced and low cost community association representation to each individual client. 

Previously, he was a partner and collections/litigation practice leader at Winzenburg, Leff, Purvis & Payne, LLP from June 2008 through January 2018. Since 1999, Mr. Dupont has represented numerous condominium, cooperative, and homeowners associations in Florida and, commencing in 2008, Colorado. Stephane also previously managed a general practice in Florida which focused primarily on commercial and general civil litigation and has utilized this experience in handling and resolving the unique and complex issues facing associations.

SIGNIFICANT REPRESENTATIONS:

  • Actively and successfully represented hundreds of association clients in all phases of community association law. 
  • Successfully collected millions of dollars annually in past due assessments and other charges.
  • Negotiated Hurricane Wilma insurance claims for several community associations in Florida, resulting in recovery of millions of dollars.
  • Foreclosed over a hundred condominium units in a single condominium project, permitting the association to recover and borrow sufficient funds to perform substantial, emergency repairs to the common elements.  The timely completion of the repairs prevented the condominium complex from being demolished as a result of numerous code enforcement violations.
