Radar Gun Bill Killed and Colorado Legislative Updates

I recently blogged about traffic enforcement in community associations. However, a proposed Bill in Arizona seeks to ban the use of radar guns for purposes of monitoring speeding homeowners in community associations.  It appears that the Bill has died for now, but it is certainly an interesting story. As for Colorado legislative updates, House Bill 18-1126 (attempting to prohibit dogs in communities based on weight, breed or size) was killed late last month.  However, House Bill 1057 (concerning the ability to obtain information about judgment debtors) is still alive along with House Bill 1175 (sunset review of manager licensing), House Bill 1107 (requiring builders of new homes to permit buyers the option to accommodate electric vehicle charging systems) and Senate Bill 56 (proposing to increase the threshold for filing in County Court to $35,000).

Stay tuned for future legislative updates.
