Manager Licensure Bill Vetoed by Governor Polis

House Bill 19-1212, proposing to extend manager licensing, was vetoed by Governor Polis late on May 31, 2019. This means that manager licensure will no longer be required as of June 30, 2019. The Bill was passed by both the House and Senate but did not survive the political pressure placed on Governor Polis to veto the bill. This is a huge blow for both our industry and licensed community association managers who invested much time, effort and money to become licensed and maintain the licensing through continuing education.
